At SAP you get your chance to put your ideas into action with maximum impact.Senior Solution Architect - BFSI Vertical to work with Customers, Sales team to sell SAP BFSI and Cross Industry Solutions. The SSA would understand the business requirements, propose SAP Solutions, establish value of SAP Solutions for the prospects / customers, demonstrate SAP Banking, Insurance and Solution to Financial Services like NBFCs and promote BFSI vertical as per revenue objectives of Company. Further focusing on BFSI vertical, need to support cross industry in the areas of Financials as per the business requirements. The SSA participates in a team-selling environment, and where necessary, works with senior management on assigned/\ named or local accounts in India. Success will be measured by the value of deals closed in a year and the revenue generated for SAP India
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Participate in customer engagements with Sales teams / Solution Engineering teams to ensure the customer's business requirements, current IT / SAP landscape are well understood • Meet key business heads to understand the business requirements and establish credentials (self + solution) on the value we can deliver to the organization / business • Routinely discuss and communicate the account strategy with other members of the virtual account team. • Attend and participate in customer team meetings and communicate regularly with Sales teams / VAT to ensure that the technical aspects of the engagement are supported • Leverage and effectively communicate solution maps to broaden the SAP footprint. • Prepare roadmaps for the customer's solution requirement and help the Sales team to obtain customer buy in • Be an expert in the SAP solution relating to Financials and desirable to have working experience in SAP's Banking or Insurance solutions. • It is desirable to have good understanding of Business Process in Banks or Insurance industry
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Domain experience in Banking or Insurance industry for about 3 to 5 years • If the proposed candidate has worked in Bank, working experience in implementing any leading Core Banking Solutions either from SI or as core team member of Bank participated in implementing any leading Core Banking Solution • If the proposed candidate has worked in Insurance, working experience in implementing any leading Policy Management + Claims Management either from SI or as core team member of Bank participated in implementing any leading Policy Management + Claims Management • SAP product knowledge relating to Financials, Banking or Insurance Solutions, • Experience of total 10 + years • SAP experience of 3 to 5 years+ • Knowledge of business processes in Banking or Insurance • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Prior experience of sales support is preferable • Demonstrated ongoing drive to continuously expand one's own professional capabilities to fuel the continued and ongoing growth and success of SAP • Demonstrated concern for meeting and exceeding immediate and future needs of customers • Experience working collaboratively with others to achieve group goals; ability to energize people to work together to accomplish business results • Able to work systematically and logically to resolve problems, address opportunities, or manage the situation at hand; ability to identify causes, relationships, and implications • Able to act on opportunities for solving problems to increase business, or meet objectives before being asked or required to do so • Proven ability to maintain focus and stay in control under stressful and challenging circumstances • Capacity to understand complex situations, see patterns and uses, create concepts, and assemble pieces of information into a cohesive single theme • Demonstrated concern for the successful achievement of results; works persistently to overcome obstacles to goal achievement • Experience in developing and using effective strategies to influence others or to gain their support • Proven ability to develop and maintain a network of contacts, able to act in a way that indicates understanding and accurate interpretation of others' concerns and feelings; capacity to understand how to create an organizational climate in which people from different cultures and countries feel accepted • Capacity to understand the agendas and perspectives of others, recognize and effectively balance the interests and needs of one's own group with those of the broader organization • Able to effectively define plans and schedules, and control projects; identify, integrate, and orchestrate the resources (people, materials, information, budget, time) required to accomplish goals • Capacity to understands business concepts and practices, keep up to date with business trends and developments; work to create new solutions for customers and competitive advantage for SAP Clearly expresses ideas, thoughts, and concepts, in writing using correct and appropriate format, organization, and structure
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from an accredited and well renowned university or institute
