Finance division is one of WW Finance Center of Excellence of IBM. It supports various Geo's for IBM Services business. Financial Analysts are groomed to be a Trusted Business Advisor to maximize Business results . In-depth understanding of Financials for the Line of Business, working together with Business to develop Forecast, regular interlock with Business to finalize Financial outlook to avoid month/quarter close surprises are some of critical requirements. As a Finance Lead you will be responsible for financial planning and forecasting, business advisory and stakeholder management. Responsibilities: -Interlock with various cost centers to ensure right and timely cost charge outs. -Analyze various spends and work to align our business interests in those policies and spends. -Act as an extended business advisor to the business. -Act as a focal for review of major capex including coordination with Capex Controller and Capex Review Board. -Collate monthly financial measurements. -Undertake annual budgeting exercise. -Streamline billing for the business units. -Lead, review or participate in automation projects. -Work with business to optimize and ensure better control on spends, allocations, BCP etc. -Maintain a strong compliance and business control posture within the business. -Overall be responsible for all day to day activities of the business and support to business leaders. Prerequisites: The candidate should be minimum a Graduate / equivalent in Accounting / Finance subjects with 3 to 5 years of work experience. Chartered Accountant with 3 to 5 years post qualification experience are preferred. Abilities Preferred: This role requires strong communication, planning, organizational, analytical, team management and decision making skills.
