The Region Finance Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop the functional team and processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. This role will functionally report to the CFO- GE South Asia & the CEO Water South Asia.

Essential Responsibilities
Serve as business partner to the CEO in the formulation and execution of business strategy in the Region.

Build / Manage a capable, stable & motivated functional team.
Communicate across the organization – Local & Global
Own the development, implementation and measurement of operating plans and participate in their successful execution (SI, SII, Op Plan)
Drive growth through interactions with customers and smart use of commercial finance and S&PF resources.
Proactively work with business leadership to meet key financial goals.
Provide guidance to help the Leadership Team meet its business goals while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and corporate polices.
Drive superior cash management processes & interactions with India treasury to ensure seamless availability of fund for business operations.
Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business (cost reduction, asset management, capital efficiency, productivity, etc.).
Drive strong controllership by maintaining a disciplined accounting system and effective systems for internal controls & decision-making.
Ensure compliance with appropriate Indian and U.S. Stat, GAAP, Tax, SOX and GE requirements.
Own the balance sheet and profit and loss statement for the business in the region.

Qualifications/Requirements
Chartered Accountant, MBA or equivalent
10+ years work experience in finance/accounting in large company or Multi National Companies
Demonstrated team leadership and interpersonal abilities
Sharp, high energy, results-driven, solution-oriented, focused and motivated, with solid decision-making capability
Good understanding of US GAAP and Indian GAAP

FMP / CAS /EFLP graduation
