  • Position Purpose
  • To ensure strict financial discipline in the unit and to facilitate the achievement of the desired financial results through continuous review, analysis and sharing of performance data with the management.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Managerial:-
  •  Direct the budgeting process for all Capital & Operational requirements
  •  Assist in strategy formulation for the unit, in order to achieve a greater profitability.
  •  Create a work environment that is high in employee morale and provides constant learning and development and use the feedback from ESS to draw an action plan.
  •  Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Operational:-
  •  To ensure the adherence of Standard Accounting procedures in all the accounting operations. Ensure compliance to all TPAM measures.
  •  Monitor cost and profit performance of all departments regularly and provide recommendations/suggestive corrective action.
  •  Ensure all financial activities, maintenance of accounts, efficient material management, compliance with statutory requirements and management of cash flow.
  •  Budgetary control to ensure desired financial performance with emphasis on profit maximization through revenue enhancement and strict expenditure controls.
  •  Balance Sheet Management.
  •  Timely completion of Statutory and Internal Audit of the unit without any qualifications.
  •  Handle all matters pertaining to insurance policies, banking etc.,
  •  To assume responsibility for preparing all MIS reports, to develop a more informative database for improved management decision-making and critical evaluation of activities.
  •  Inform and advise the departmental heads in the areas of financial performance, cost benefit analysis, cost management etc.,
  •  Handle related department such as the Stores and the Credit Collection Cell (local staff) and deal with local companies.
  • Requirements:
  • Candidate Profile
  • Education
  • Minimum – Graduation in Commerce – (Graduation in other discipline also will be considered if candidate has additional qualifications as given below)
  • Preferable – M Com, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant
  • Knowledge/Skills
  •  Thorough knowledge of modern financial analysis tools and techniques
  •  Knowledge of Commercial Laws and regulations.
  •  Working knowledge of the MS Office and Hotel Accounting & Materials package
  • Experience
  •  A minimum of 4-6 years in managing accounting operations

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Chartered Accountancy in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent. Job role in Financial Accounting & Reporting or equivalent.
