In this position of a “Taxation Controller”, you shall prepare, review, file i.e. handle all tax related compliances and responsible for taxation matter on all India basis along with compliance on Corporate Laws and Accounting Regulations. You will be responsible for leading all tax litigation in direct tax and indirect tax and as a part of your accountability, you will be involved in compliance with all Tax laws and regulations (both at Federal and Provincial level) prevailing in India, payment of Services Tax dues and filing of Service Tax returns, payment of TDS(other than salaries) and filling of TDS returns on timely basis. You will also be involved in preparation of Corporate Tax return for airline and handle the payroll related taxes i.e. income Tax, Provident Fund, Profession Tax etc.
You will also have to submit monthly reports to Head Office Taxations Division, and provide Corporate Income Tax / TDS audit. You will manage all the Local Tax issues and regulations for all 12 stations in India and manage significant indirect tax litigation and advisory matters, co-ordinating with external tax consultants where necessary.
About You::
To join our team in this role you will minimum need a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of job related experience with an accounting experience of 3 years in the airline.
Preferably you should have a MBA Finance / Post Graduate degree in taxation and an accounting certificate like CA/CPA/ ACCA/CIMA/ICWA. You should also have a user level experience in ERP, be proficient with Spread sheets, strong aviation specific profile in either expenditure or revenue accounting along with knowledge of local laws and regulations like Service Tax, VAT, Income Tax, TDS etc.
