Description and Desired Qualifications

This role requires a qualified MBA- Finance or CA with 5 years experience or more, preferably (but not a pre-requisite) with a multinational company to deliver on the following:

Extension of, support to and coordination with regional treasury lead with a view to locally handle:

1. Bank guarantees;

a. New requests and amendments
b. Monitoring of bank guarantees expiry and coordinating directly with the project team for sending reminders for renewals or validity extension as required, including custody of bank guarantees, issued to or received from clients
c. Direct coordination with bank on other bank guarantee related matters / issues

2. Cash flow forecast;
a. Coordinate and provide cash flow forecast for the India entities (quarterly updated with full year forecast)
b. Provide monthly actuals

3. Intercompany funding / settlements;
a. Work with Accounts and coordinate with the bank as necessary for the documents required for IC settlements
b. Update IC template for funds received / paid

4. Bank administration: signatory updates, bank account openings and closures.

Extension of and support to regional commercial finance lead with a view to optimize India project financials: maximize margin, minimize project investment / working capital, identify opportunities and mitigate risks

Understand and expand use of regional financial reporting and analysis tools to support country management team in making financially sound and sustainable decisions

Credit card management

Insurance support to projects incl. coordination with corporate insurance department and maintaining a register

Paralegal support:

1. to India company secretary and regional legal department on company liquidations, POA, etc

2. to PMs, market leads, country management and regional legal department on project disputes (arbitration, litigation, …)

Bid support: financial T&C, financial risk and a particular focus on tax implications

Basic Qualifications

• MBA Finance or CA
• 5 years experience or more, preferably (but not a pre-requisite) with a multinational company
• Knowledge of Indian tax
• Good knowledge of Indian business environment
• Hands-on and team player
• Degree Required
