As a part of our Group Service Center Team, your key responsibilities are
·         Lead a team of 10-15 members
·         Identify opportunities for process re-engineering / improvement and drive changes independently
·         Provide services & support to finance and business users on the MI data aspects.
·         Provide support to Business Area in performing the user acceptance tests for any changes/enhancements.
·         Ensure that the team meet the reporting requirements within the contractual timeline.
·         Should be proficient & professional in supervisory role of leading & motivating team.
·         Review contingent requirements on a periodic basis and invoke relevant business recovery measures as necessary
·         Deal with internal and external attrition and their operational effects; ensure ‘knowledge retention’ in the section by reinforcing concepts through continuous staff training.
·         Ensure process is always audit and regulatory compliant with nil issues
·         Should be able to provide strategic direction and manage Business Partner relationships
·         Responsible for leading & motivating multiple teams/processes, with accountability on all Business Service Delivery parameters, like extracting and generating of reports.
·         Has strong technical understanding of accounting principles and demonstrated competence in their application.
·         Responsible to conduct an independent review of values fed by sources and report large deviation in trends to all concerned. Work with the IT/ source providers on fixing the issue, if any
·         Preparation and consolidation of financial / non-financial management information for a complex set of businesses
·         Conference calls for query resolutions & clarifications etc.
·         Experienced professional in supervisory role, responsible for complex reporting; proficient in providing support to business decisions through analysis of business and financial data and execution of critical projects
·         Required to lead the parallel run for IMIS/ Master and highlight exceptions to project team
·         Responsible for system reconciliations and must ensure the differences are under control; Required to perform in-depth investigations to find the root cause and resolve them.
         Play a lead role in all the future dated UAT/ SIT testing of FTP – like source system conversion/ Gold update/ LSD etc,.

Qualifications

 
  
  • B Com / M Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CWA Inter with 7- 12 years of experience (Or)
  • Qualified Accountant (Chartered, ACCA or CIMA): 6-9 years
  • Knowledge of Accounts & Finance and affinity for numbers
  • Highly focussed on enhancing control environment with knowledge of SOX controls, internal audit and compliance requirements.
  • Independent, able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills evidenced by achievement of objectives together with a track record of development of subordinates
  • High level of analytical skills and ability to grasp complicated functions in short period of time and transfer knowledge appropriately
  • Required to have prior experience of working on setting up hierarchies and the related maintenance tasks. He/ she should be technically sound to monitor  the feed processing, highlight all exceptions and work with IT to resolve the same
  • Must have excellent attention to details – he/ she should understand the system linkages and related mappings. Must develop an excellent working relationship with the RM and highlight requests for new product setups/ cost center realignments etc,.
  • Must have prior experience of performing system reconciliations. Should have strong analytical/ investigative skills to perform  reconciliations. Required to be in continuous dialogue with feed providers to build reconciliations and escalate deviations if any
  • Ability to maintain control, direction and motivation of staff in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to manage customer relationship with multiple business partners
  • Orientation towards Quality (Six Sigma/Lean methodology) and technical bent of mind
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines
  • Sound problem solving, planning & organizing skills
  • Self-motivated and good team player
  • Robust experience in planning and organizing work in a global environment
    Should be flexible to stretch and work across shifts
