An exciting opportunity to join Financial Accounting (Fixed assets) Pune COE responsible for financial accounting and Group reporting and the associated controls around the data referenced in this process.You will enjoy a key role within the team, duties will include
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register in PeopleSoft for APAC, AMER and EMEA region.
- Co-ordinate with various stakeholders i.e. CRES/ IT/ IDS.
- Daily, month end journals and integrity checks
- Investigating breaks between Sub ledger and general Ledger.
- Understanding of CPA (Centrally Planned Allocation).
- Prepare and submit fixed asset ADAC levels.
- Participate in automation projects, change initiatives.
- Account Ownership reconciliation, understanding Handoff procedure.
- Maintaining accounting records in accordance to GAAP requirements.
- Executing month-end processes i.e. fixed asset Additions, Write off’ s, Imperilments, Adjustments, and Transfers etc.
- Load Head count report.
- Coordinating with AP team for any vouchers invoices missing in Patina System/My shop
- Prepare FX conversion journal on monthly basis and manage report.
- Daily Monitoring Myshop booking for asset additions.
- Retrieve Invoices from PATRINA for verifying fixed asset details.
- Prepare Monthly Addition /disposal list and Reconciliations.
- Distribute fixed asset register to stakeholders.
- Ensuring that there are no unexplained / unidentified breaks between PSAM and GL.
- Liaising with various departments and prepare require report for CRES, IDS, ITFM, KPMG Auditors, LEC, & QAR.
- Driving improvements/ efficiencies in the team.
You Offer...
Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
- Commerce graduate / post graduate, strong excel skill
- Relevant university degree i.e accounting or finance related.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant preferable but not mandatory
- 2-4 years of experience in a Financial Accounting or similar role.
- Experience in preparation of financial statements
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Proficient Excel user
- Sound conceptual accounting skills
- Good communication skills
- Good presentation/documentation skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Detail oriented approach to work commitments
- Ability to think logically and independently to solve problems
