CA as Assistant Manager - Fund Accounting at IDBI Federal Insurance
1. MIS Reporting : Preparation of monthly, quarterly MIS, adhoc MIS etc.
2. Arrange for Settlement to various Custodians & Bankers for secondary market/ CBLO transactions and making Entries in MFund, after validation.
3. Transaction processing and Execution of Money Market (FDs, CBLO and MF units) transactions
(a) Opening of FD Bank accounts/ MF accounts after completing KYC formalities; and
(b) This would involve preparation of Deal confirmation letters, Fund transfer letters to various banks for the settlement of Money market transactions, obtaining Fixed deposit Receipts, faxing and couriering instructions to bankers etc;
(c) Controlling Fixed deposit Interest receipts and Redemption due dates.
(d) Reporting of debt trades through FTRAC platform.
4. Execution of secondary Market / Basket Trades, for all Investment classes and complete the STP process
(a) Execution of Regular Trades/ Basket of trades for Equity shares and sending STP confirmations to Custodians;
- Basket Purchase through FOS Input;
- Basket sales though BOS Upload;
- Inter scheme Baskets through BOS upload;
(b) Upload Investment Journal file for Custody fees for Basket trades routed through FOS, Dealing Module
(c) Obtaining and matching Deal Tickets for investments in various other Asset
Classes.
(d) Preparation & dispatch of Deal Instructions to Custodian (including for Debt deals, Inter scheme deals, IPO deals and LMF deals) for their execution
5. Monitoring Bank Balances. Arrange for Inter transfer of funds between banks as per Cash flow requirements
6. Preparation of Daily Bank Reconciliation Statements
7. Controlling Corporate Actions
(a) On a daily basis capture and account for Corporate actions.
(b) Also ensuring that no Receivables are pending for more than 7 days.
(c) Reporting to SHCIL of all Interest warrants that has been directly received at our end.
8. Filing for the above functions.
