CA as Accountant 2 - Operational at GE India
Essential Responsibilities
- GL Accounting and Reporting for Businesses
- Lead Closing & DR Reporting processes for the ledgers
- Ensure timely closure of period ends, reconciliations and
open items in reconcilaitions
- Co-ordinate with other COEs to ensure delivery on R2R and
Stat deliverables
- Manage Statutory, Internal, tax, CAS and other audits for
the ledgers
- Lead ledger reviews with business and controllership teams
- Drive standardization and process improvements in the R2R
and Stat process
- Ensure Stat compliances and deposits
- Maintain documentation of Statutory and other records
- Drive controllership & compliance by partering with
other COEs and functions
Qualifications/Requirements
- Chartered Accountant
- Over all 3-5 years of experience
- Good working knowledge of Oracle Financials
- Good Customer facing and communication skills
- Good Analytical and Presentation Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to manage team
- Ability to work and succeed within stretched timelines
Desired Characteristics
- Knowledge of US GAAP
